How to find out if dealer added antifreeze to Alde water tank

Last fall I asked the dealer to only air out the water tank so I can go dry camping in the winter. Is there a way to verify they did not add antifreeze to the heater?

Well, looks like you have a pre-2021 320 Boondock. To see if you have antifreeze in the Alde water tank, put a bucket under the Alde glycol drain and lift up the yellow Alde Safety/Relief valve.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

The valve was left open so I’m good! Thank you. When dry camping should the valve be closed to turn on the heat?

You can close the Alde yellow flapper valve. The Alde water tank is separate from the Alde glycol tank. You can dry camp and use the Alde for heat.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio
