Spare Tire/Boondocks Platform

Interested in moving the spare tire. I've seen some pictures of those who have it mounted on the Boondock Platform...not mounted the the frame but on the platform itself in front of the tub facing outward. But I cannot find any info on a mount for this other than some homemade mods attached to the (metal) tub. Is this the only option? Fwiw....my tub is plastic and know I can't mount against it.

Mounting to the jack tube (facing backward) with the tire supported by the trailer frame was a popular mod on early T@Bs where the spare had been inconveniently mounted under the rear of the camper.
