Awesome Fridge Replacement Thread with Electric Cooler & Slide Out Drawer?

Someone did a top notch fridge replacement with a slide out drawer using an ARB or some kind of electric cooler. This was 2-3 years ago I think? Great pictures, tight fit, great woodwork. Can anyone point me to this thread please?

Sharon- there was a guy who did an amazing swap of the Norcold with an aftermarket frig in the same dimensions as the Norcold.  It slide out and was a top-loader.

If this mod were a movie, it would be at least "R" rated.  That's how exciting it is.

I copied GeoMars on mine too (or tried to). We played with different options in CAD, and decided his slide out was optimal already.

Top is a cutting board / prep area, second holds an Iceco 20, third is an extra drawer, bottom is stock flip down.

Doug - can't imagine the guts it took to drill those vent holes by hand.  Way above my paygrade.  Beautiful job.

That's the one! Super awesome job on your build also DougH! It looks like my cabinet setup is a little different than either of these examples, so I'll need to work my own magic for the end result but inspired by what you both did. I think I want the largest fridge I can fit, which if I take out the cabinets I'm willing to lose I could have something about 26" long (or wide), about 24" tall, and about 20" deep. I've been looking at ARB, Dometic, Iceco, among others to see about capacity, price, and of course dimensions! Part of me debates whether it's worth the trouble to do the build in the trailer, and why not just keep the cooler in the TV. Not long ago we took our Norcold out of the Tab as it was so loud (10 years old) and currently we just use that space as a dry good pantry. We kept 2 ice coolers in the Van and it worked out pretty well. Obviously more trips in and out of the trailer! We are moving to Washington in April and will likely be camping for a month or two while we look for land so I want to tighten up our rig.

@Tablet: I tend to agree with you...and to add that my 3 way still works, so why tear it out. If I think breaks, then I may consider. I do have an indelB I use for extra fridge space. In the TV while traveling next to the trailer, in camp.
