Shore power receptacle

As some will know from my other posts, I'm in the process of adding a hard-wired EMS to my new T@B 320. There are limited options for mounting the unit and all of them require adding wire to the run from the shore power receptacle to the WFCO. I thought I'd just remove the existing connection to the shore power plug, and add a new wire to the EMS unit from there, but I can't see how the plug and receptacle can be separated. Hoping some who may have done something similar can help.

It looks like the grey tab locks the wire to the retaining box, which in turn looks like it's held to the back of the receptacle with some press-in tabs. Nothing separates easily however, and I don't want to force anything, There is a set screw (visible just under the tab, at the bottom of the receptacle) that I loosened but it too did not seem to free anything up.
I also checked to see if backing off the retaining screws from plug would help. Again, nothing comes apart easily.
Appreciate any advice.

@ChrisFix or @TomCanada might be able to help you out, since they took it apart as depicted in the following discussion thread. Maybe they will chime in if they see my mention of their member names.

Thanks @Baylis. The first photo of the linked thread helps a bit, since it makes clear that the white plastic housing has to be separated from the rest of the receptacle. I think the key is getting that grey box free from the wire and the housing. Just how to accomplish that is the mystery at the moment.

@CharlieRN could you re-post your images? Looks like they were too big and got removed. If I interpret the description correctly, you're trying to free the wire from the grey strain relief box. Mine looked something like this:

I just grabbed the little tongue insert with a pair of pliers and yanked it out, then after reinstallation I gently tapped it back in with a hammer. -
@TomCanada - yes, that is indeed what I need to do. I was hesitant to apply too much gusto to my effort - it is after all a brand new trailer. Once the tongue of the t strain relief box is removed, does the white outer sleeve just slide back?I reduced the filesize of the relevant deleted photo and reposted it in my initial post above (hopefully it's now small enough.)2021 T@B 320 S Boondock / 2022 Telluride - Phillies/Eagles/Flyers Country

The white sleeve stays attached to the main part of the receptacle. There should be a center screw at the back of the receptacle that, along with three screws on the front of the receptacle, once removed will allow the pins and cable to slide out the front. Wish I took photos of that now!
