Heads up for anyone headed here. Be sure to fill up your gas can! Very long lines for gas all around town this week.

    There is plenty gas so the Governor says.  It is the panic buying….  Monday demand was up 20%, Tuesday up 40%.  Soon everyone will have gas and the stations will be lacking customers.

    Nearly 60% of gas stations in Raleigh are without gas.

    scary that our infrastructure isn't better secured!

    And per this morning's news, some places are refusing to allow filling of gas cans precisely to try and stem hoarding.

    Gasoline is the new toilet paper!  ;-)

    @ScottG yep--they could very possibly not be having a gas shortage if so many people hadn't brought along multiple gas cans to fill--I saw a picture of a lady with an SUV at a gas station & she must have had 8-10 large gas cans laying on their side in the back of her SUV.  Crazy

    Same behavior that happened last year with toilet paper!  People be crazy.

    @jules2go Shortages running all the way down I-26. Spartanburg, SC area is very spotty on who has gas also

    Recent report from the New York Times says a few days and back to normal as pipeline is re opened.

    Pipeline is back up and running.

    There was never a shortage of gas, just common sense.  The demand spiked by 40-60% because of panic buying.  

    A few years ago one of Colonial’s lines went down and the tank farms did not see issues for a month.  So, from last Friday to Wednesday, it is crazy human behavior at work, nothing else.
