Camping with an American-built T@B in Europe: would that be doable?
Would it be possible to use electrical hookups given that Europe has different voltage (220-240 V vs. 110 in North America)? Any other insights would be welcome as well. Thanks!

Yes, you will need to find a way to get your shore power cable to connect to a 220/240 to 110/120 converter. Amazon has them. from what I understand European campgrounds supply less power than American, so it would be a slower charge rate. I would recommend having solar in case the converter failed.
It would be weird to drive the T@b on the wrong side of the road!2021 T@b 320 Boondock "Mattie Ross" | 2021 T@b Nights: 239 | Total nights in a T@b 455 | 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland | T@b owner since 2014

Thanks, Jenn! Agree re: driving on the wrong side, so if we go we'll just stick with the continental Europe - unlike the British isles, the whole continent drives on the right side, just like the US

Curious - Have you checked into the cost of shipping the T@B over there? Last time I looked, all the land bridges were under water.

We did not research shipping costs with any precision at this time since we don't have immediate plans to go over. From what we have seen so far, it would be pricey but doable for a longer-term stay that we have in mind, should all other factors align.2014 T@B S-Maxx with 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Turbo, Atlanta, GA.

Have you checked at all into buy a T@B over there and then selling it when you leave - Or rental T@Bs? Might be less costly than shipping.

Their T@bs are pretty nifty and they have the larger models, too.2021 T@b 320 Boondock "Mattie Ross" | 2021 T@b Nights: 239 | Total nights in a T@b 455 | 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland | T@b owner since 2014

The line frequency in Europe is 50 hertz. You'd need to contact the WFCO folks to see if their power center will work at that freq. The manual doesn't say. Your gas bottle would probably have to changed out to a TÜV or European approved type and you'll need an adapter for the gas connector depending on the country you are in.
Bringing it back to the US could be a booger. The underbody will have to be steam cleaned for snail infestation before shipping. US customs may have you remove the underliner and have that section steam cleaned as well. All vehicles coming from Europe undergo this scrutiny. If you leave it there (sell it or junk it) then plan on a few days to go through the customs process. Be sure to take your registration and bill of sale with you.
This could be a lot of fun but could also be an expensive, tedious chore fraught with peril. Do a lot of homework before you decide to do this.

Vielen Dank, Abenteurer. It does appear that getting a Tabbert-produced t@b in Europe might be the better way than shipping ours from here, if we were to go ahead with a longer stay in Europe. Until then, we'll make sure to continue having fun on this side of the pond with our T@bby.
Thanks again to all for sharing great insights
