Is it possible to adjust clamshell to be raised a couple of inches higher?

We have a 2018 320-CS and I am 6'2 and find myself forever ducking my head when I approach the kitchen, for fear of my skull meeting one or both of the metal latches that are used to lock the clamshell. I'm wondering if there us any possibility of extending or installing longer hydraulics that would allow the hatch to open to its maximum, about three inches higher than its current maximum. Is this possible? Is the hinge that attaches the clamshell to the camper body even capable opening a few inches higher? Thanks for any input/advice.
Thanks, Jerry

Changing to a Boondock raised axle should give you the clearance you need.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio -
I never thought of raising the axles. Interesting concept but wouldn't that affect my current setup where my tab when hitched to my TV is perfectly level?
Thanks, Jerry

Just change the draw bar so the ball is higher.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio
