Electrical problems

When we arrived at the campground everything worked as expected. All of a sudden the coolcat was turned to heat pump. We turned it off for a while and it came back on and worked fine for a while. We noticed the lights dimming and at one time full power came on briefly. Turned the fan on overnight and in the morning all power was dead so we must have been running off the battery only. Any ideas what could have caused this scenario. Trailer is 2006 T@b

Possible failing converter. It is what provides you with 110 power and also converts that power down to 12v to run 12v items and charge the battery.

That generation of WFCO converters were known to shake themselves apart.  The old Yahoo forum had several posts on repairs and reinforcements of the large components on the circuit board whose leads would break from road vibration.

Here is a search for the "old" Yahoo Forum, which got ported over to a new web site last year.  I just did a generic search for "converter repair", but you might want to dig a little deeper.
