Anyone Figure Out How To Get The Spare Tire Tongue Through The Spare Tire To Remove The Tire?

T@B 400 - I can lower the tire just fine, but I don't see a way to maneuver the spare tire tongue to get it through the center of the tire in order to remove the spare. Not enough play in the tongue to get it through. Anyone else run into this?

Also, it's real hard to turn the crank to raise the tire back up to secure it.

Doesn't seem to be enough slack in the cable or enough room between the tire on the ground and the trailer tongue to manuever the spare tire tongue through the center of the wheel.

Crank turns hard, you may have to raise the tongue to allow room to access. Loosen the lift until there is slack in the cable and it will rotate and pass through the center hole easy enough. We have a 2020 400 BDL and the room is limited.

Lower the cable as far as it will go--more than is needed for the tire to reach the ground. Then pull the tire toward you slightly--just a few inches--and raise the nearest edge of the tire. That will give you enough room to rotate the lip on the bottom of the cable enough to slip it through the hole of the tire.

And as for raising the tire, it is a hard turn on the crank (2021 T@B 400) for me too. The wire is just passing over a plastic part to go through 90 degrees - I added a small amount of grease to the wire and it helped a lot.
