I recently purchased a used 2008 T@b. I'm having an issue with the battery. Should the electric outlets be "live" when running off the battery? Lights work but not the outlets.

    The outlets will only work when plugged into outside power. They do not run off the battery. The air conditioner will also not work without outside power.

    No.  The 120v outlets will only work when plugged into shorepower.  Air con (if you have it) is only 120v.  The lights, water pump and appliances are wired for 12v and work via the battery or via the converter off shorepower.  What kind of heater and water heater do you have? Not sure if your frig is 3 way or not.
