This showed up on the FB page yesterday. Creed Hostetler responded when the new owner asked about what they were:

Hello - One is an inlet and one an outlet for the glycol lines of your Alde system. The service-center will use them when changing the glycol. They should only be opened when the glycol is being changed at your 2year mark.

So, the Engineering Department has been on the case.

    Alde's new proprietary service pump is a "bottom fill" design. Looks like it appeared sometimes in 2019, presumably replacing the older style pump that connected at the expansion tank.
