Replacement for either window struts or window shades?

I have a 2004 Dutchman. The struts that hold the windows open are temperamental at best and one of them has broken off. Does anyone have experience switching these out for some other device? I'm hoping to replace just the struts and not the whole window assembly.

Somewhat related, the window shades are falling apart. Is there a source to get replacement parts for my vintage T@B? If not, does anyone have experience swapping out the window shade assemblies with something else?
