MAGNETS! If a girl can require extensive plastic surgery to fix her gorrilla glue hair, we can attach magnets to our t@b door garbage can. We will let you know how it holds up.
That's a great idea... we also use that size plastic bag in our door garbage can, but for 2 years I've been putting an inch or so of double stick tape in two similar places to hold the bag. I've been replacing the tape more or less every bag replacement. Not ideal. I'm Going to order magnets right now!

Sorry but I'm not getting how this compares to the girl with the gorilla glue in her hair and I'm not understanding what I'm seeing with the magnets. What are they doing? I think holding the bag in place?

The Gorilla glue applications are holding magnets onto the garbage can, when combined with a second magnet are are holding the garbage bag in place. The garbage can is a porous and curved surface, so I am gambling that it will hold. If it can work for Tessica, I am hoping it can work for me!
...my version- using self stick steel tape with magnets. Probably only need one or two magnets on underside of lid... time will tell! Thanks for the great idea.

Does the garbage can have a back in the 2022 ? I can't tell by the photos... I fixed my 2020 by sliding a corrugated plastic in the back. I holds the bag pretty well.

@Maple_Geek Then you could do the same as me. I put the bag overlapping a few inches all around the bin and the corrugated plastic. It does not prevent from reinstalling the bin and it holds well in place.

I wonder why a piece of plastic could be inserted into a slide on the plastic trash receptacle? To avoid holes, one could use a glue gun and "tack" two pieces of plastic on either side and slip the plastic in the slots created??? Just thinking.
@Passport There are no holes in my garbage can modification. The corrugated plastic holds in the slides without anything being drilled or glued.
