Made easier access to starboard side settee storage. Used piano hinge and magnets, some poplar I had leftover from another job. The color matches the maple cabinets better than the fake veneer settee boxes.

Great idea! The wood that most closely matches and is what is used in the wood panels is birch.

Thanks, I did not realize it was birch.

I only know because I had a 2015 320 that had an ugly grey plastic piece next to the fridge and I build a matching cabinet door to replace it. Turned out nice.  I might still have a pic somewhere.  It was a pain because the fridge components behind the plastic stuck out so I had to build a box.  It's the skinny door left of the fridge.

@Geo Did your 2004 have birch cabinetry?  What about the benches?

@Sharon_is_SAM,  Yes.  The OEM from Dutchman was a vinal covered fake wood grain plywood for all exposed cabinetry.  In my remodels ('06 and '20) I used birch veneer plywood and real birch hardwood for the framing around cabinet door openings and door frames.
