What do you do with your propane tank when not camping?

Already looking at the quiet times when Uteki is sitting in the driveway. Do folks remove their tank, leave it in the box and disconnect, or not even bother messing with it? Thanks.

As long as it is shut off, there should be no problem leaving it in the camper in the driveway. Even in heat the tanks are stable.
Sometimes I use it as a backup for my propane grill as well

My driveway is fairly secure so I leave both the battery and propane tank hooked up. The rig is also plugged into the house 110.
For full disclosure I should state that I live on the California coast so the rig gets used year around. -
Rad, how do you do the 110 hookup? We only have the 30 amp connection on Uteki, but would love to be able to do the 110. Are you using a converter connector?

Yes, it is an adapter you get that changes the layout of the prongs from 30Amp to 20/15amp. It is small and inexpensive.

Yup, "easy peezey lemon squeezey" as my 7 yr old granddaughter would say. You can run everything, however, if you run the Alde, do so on the lowest of the three electrical settings( the slide switch on the far left).Cyclonic said:Yes, it is an adapter you get that changes the layout of the prongs from 30Amp to 20/15amp. My T@B stays in a detached garage and I leave the tank on it all the time. We actually have a couple of extra tanks sitting in the garage alsoCarol

Hubby works for a propane company. I think he added gas once, so I don't know if he took it out or not. I very rarely use the propane, obviously. lol He says it's fine to paint the tanks as long as you use a color that reflects heat and no dark colors.Crystal & Daisy, a yellow 2007 T@B Q previously towed by a 2008 Jeep Liberty, and currently towed by a 2016 RAM 1500.
