You can use the cabinet door to direct the AC to avoid a draft.  Might be obvious- we so rarely use the AC that this never came up.

    also, the air outlet vent rotates so you can direct the air

    Another opportunity to laugh at myself. I was scared to turn the vent for fear of breaking it- like, say, removing the screen for the ceiling fan. Will go try to turn it now!  I was just so excited to have a tool- free fix!

    @yanni I hear ya. have broken many things in life learning about them. good thing is they can all be replaced. Enjoy your rig and let me know if the ac ever comes on by itself while having been completely off. It has happen 3 times to me now. it is just the oddest thing.
