FOUND BEST PLACE TO MOUNT REARVIEW CAMERA

On my new Max Air fan I mounted the rear facing camera so my Garmin GPS in the Jeep can see behind my 320. I also installed a switch and fuse holder so I can turn it off when not driving from inside the T@B. The switch is right in the fan where I also spliced in to get 12 volts to run camera without having to run more power wires. All wires are hidden. Now all I have to do is mount the new fan onto the roof of the T@B which in my younger days would have been easy! Art

I wired mine to the running lights. I just turn on the lights and my Garmin camera mounted above the T@Bs license plate pops up on the GPS screen. No need for a switch.

Clever place, I never thought that it would see low enough in back to be useful. I'll look into moving it. My Haloview seems bigger than yours and I still have the original Fantastic Fan (though modified with speed control).

Looking forward to seeing the completed installation & views, @gulfarea.
I used a similar location for mine about a year ago, but wired to the running lights..

We’ve had our camera mounted to the fan for about a year. Don’t use it for backing up much. It’s more for keeping track of tailgater’s and the stuff carried on our rear T@B roof rack.

@AnOldUR Thats just why I mounted mine up there to see if I had a train of folks wanting to pass so I would pull over and let them pass. Art
