Installing paper towel holder under cabinets

We'd bought (and returned) a paper towel holder from the hardware store, because we weren't sure how to mount it. It was one that only attaches at one end, the hardware it included was intended for drywall and I was concerned that screws wouldn't have enough wood to bite into to prevent it from ripping out of the under cabinet plywood.
So for those who've installed a paper towel bar in their T@Bs, how'd you do it?
I'm contemplating maybe getting another and a couple bolts, running the bolts through from inside the cabinet with a couple washers to prevent ripping out, and then cabinet liner to keep the bolt heads from chewing up the dishware we put in the cabinet.

I installed this one - self adhesive. Easy peazy. No drilling required. Two years later, rock solid.

Still works fine. Sometimes, my wife will pull the last towel up over the top of the door & leave it hanging out for easy access if she anticipates needing more than one.-Brian in Chester, Virginia

I've used these at home for similar purposes. A good hardware store (Ace Hardware) will have a device called a T-Nut. See attached image. Drill holes in the bottom shelf to fit the T-Net and mount them with the flange facing up. This creates an almost flush attachment point that the shelf liner will nicely cover. Now mount the towel holder from below.T@B 320 manuals and electrical drawings

@klenger I've got (I think) some t-nuts like that from another project at home. I wonder now, though, after a visit to the camper, if there's wiring in between the bottom of the cabinets and the section over the counters, as it's almost 2" thick there!
@marleecamps that's exactly the same style except for the mounting as what we had bought and returned! Why oh why didn't I post this a day or two ago before I placed an Amazon order?
@BrianZ I like the idea, but the T@B 400 doesn't have "flat" doors on the under cabinets, the only doors are the curved ones under the sink so I don't think that idea would work for us. Well, not without a bit of tweaking, at least.----------------------------------------------------------

Yes, there are the power cables for the counter lights, and the speaker wires. Also all the Alde and AC control cables are routed behind the overhead galley cabinets. The lower panel under the cabinet, is at least 1/2” thick and is where we mounted our paper towel holder well behind the light fixture. Here is a photo showing the area whilst the TaB400 is being built:

You can see the wire bundle waiting to be routed on the shelf in the upper left corner (green arrow), and the light wire routed into the space between the cabinet bottom and the shelf. The wires go behind the galley cabinets and come out through the holes in the left side (blue line and arrow) and down under the bunk. The red line at the top shows where we mounted our towel holder bracket, about halfway back from the back, used 1/2-inch screws, so no worries about hitting a wire.Cheers2018 TaB400 Custom Boondock, Jeep Gladiator truck, Northern California Coast. -

I used industrial strength Velcro to attach mine to the underside of the cabinet. Has held for four years.
