Nautilus will not draw antifreeze. Try the Camco winterizing kit instead.

The stream of problems of the Nautilus being unable or extremely balky at sucking up antifreeze continues unabated.  Many frustrated owners over at the FB threads.  Several more today.

This little device is reasonably simple to install right at the pump.  Does not require any more Tab Weightlifting of a gallon bucket of antifreeze, or funnels, or guessing or hoping.  I know owners have made it work....but far too many have been unable to make the Nautilus suck up antifreeze.

You can also build your own from common plumbing parts available at your big box store.

    I’ll vouch for the Camco device as well. I installed mine myself (no Nautilus) as someone who had literally never done anything more complicated than install a new shower head. Super easy to do, though you may find you need an additional rubber washer for the siphon hose. Every fall, I thank my past self for installing it!
