Glass Stove Top

2021 320 B just had the glass stove top explode. Decided to use something different as shown below. This is rolled up if using the stove, window open and screens retracted. Also have small fan to keep heat away from walls. Works fine so far

    Hi,

    Glad no one was hurt.  Looks like a good solution.

    I also saw somewhere recently where someone had a thin aluminum plate cut to the dimensions and hinged at the back.  

    The glass looks nice, but seems so fragile in the applied environment.

    Just curious, so I and others can learn..what was being done when the glass shattered?

    Well, my wife put the glass down and forgot the burner. It was exciting at 5 am. From day one, I knew glass in a camper is a bad idea. Opening the small cabinet above was scary in case something fell out. I had planned on replacing with a pizza type pan that has an air gap. But this should work. We cook outside, this was her morning coffee…..

    The manual for this stove shows this same stove model with a metal top version. Possibly a replacement part is available?

    $75 incl shipping. I’ll stick with roll up for now. Will get back and plasma cut one out
