3-way Norcold replacement?

I’m not finding much via search. Can someone steer me to threads on replacing my Norcold 3-way in a 2017 320S. I was one of the fortunate ones in terms of performance up to about a year ago, but it’s been giving me problems running on propane for awhile and I’m ready to do DC/ 2-way.

If you search this forum you will find quite a few threads on replacing the 3-way fridge, some replaced it with Isoterm 2-way, I looked into it but it was an expensive proposition. I replaced my 3-way with a portable ICECO fridge/freezer and never looked back. It's efficient and versatile

@webers3 Is that basically a drawer and the fridge plugs into a 110 outlet?2018 T@B 320S. 2017 Toyota Highlander AWD

Here's another take on what @webers3 posted above. It's a 12V chest fridge on a slide that runs on 120V with a power supply brick. Pretty sure the Iceco is the same. We're on our third season and it has done a great job at holding food at safe temperature (~37 degrees) regardless of out conditions. I tied it into the same 12V wire that fed the 3-way. We never run it with the brick. Draws 25-35 amp hours per day depending on ambient.

@tombeaux Yes it's a sliding drawer. The fridge can run on 12v or 120v. I have it hooked to the 12v line that was originally connected to the 3-way, this way I don't need to switch it between 12v and 120v depending if I have hook-up or not. I attached a cigarette lighter connection to the original 12v line and the fridge plugs into it. Unlike the 3-way that needed constant baby sitting, this one I set it and forget it. Draws very little power in ECO mode and I really like the versatility, we can leave it inside when camping or set it up outside, and it doesn't dump the cold air every time you open it. I think I took the idea from @AnOldUR

I'm not sure if it was you or someone else who got me started on this project, but I can't take credit. There are a several different approaches to this posted on the forum. Either way, yours is cosmetically the better way for @tombeaux to go if he decides to use a slide.webers3 said:I think I took the idea from @AnOldUR

@tombeaux We removed the vents since they were not needed and installed a pair of boat hatches. There a little storage behind each.

@tombeaux I blocked out the lower vent on the inside but left the upper vent as is, have not had any issues with leaving the upper vent open for ventilation.2017 T@B 320S 2019 Jeep Cherokee - Southern Connecticut

Here's the link. When I purchased a couple of years ago the price was just over $50.
