TV or No TV? Do you really need it in the CS Galley?

Has anyone taken out the TV in the galley? Is it easy or should someone else do it?

We're considering taking it out but will decide after our 3 week trip. I did check with Pleasant Valley and I can order a maching cabinet door and hardware to put on the cabinet where the TV is.Jaynie and Larry - Palo Alto, CA - 2015 T@B CS-S - Expedition EL - Nights spent in "T@b Spirit of Holly" 97

If the TV is on a moveable bracket, you just have to move the bracket to see the screws that the TV is mounted to the bracket. Remove those screws--hold onto the TV firmly. Unscrew the coaxial cable, and order the cabinet door and hardware mentioned by Jaynie. Install the cabinet door and no one will know it once held a TV.Tweedrvr said:Has anyone taken out the TV in the galley? Is it easy or should someone else do it?Verna, Columbus, IN

Thanks, Verna. Sounds doable.
