Black streaks under outside light

I understand that over time there is going to be black streaks from the seals around windows etc. However, my outside light is really bad with streaking. It's nearly impossible to keep it streak free under the light and down that side of the trailer. Any rain or water running down there and the streaks are back. Trying to clean around the light just seems to make things worse. I assumed over time it would stop streaking as bad but it seems to get worse. It's been my biggest frustration. Is there anything I can coat the seal with to stop or reduce whatever is coming off of the seal around this light?

@Da_Birds.  There was a lengthy discussion about this that I saw a few months ago.  A lot of people had some very good input.  I believe it is at the link below:

@Basil48192 Thank you for providing that link. I tried searching for previous discussions but this one didn't come up. Think I'll try some clear coat nail polish first!

Put 3 coats of clear coat nail polish on yesterday. Was finally able to get the streaks and smudges cleaned off.

    Thanks!
