Air flow into camper from gap above and below fridge

We have a 2019 t@b 400 with the three way fridge.  There is about 1/8 gap above and below the fridge as it sits in the cabinet. On windy days we feel the wind through these gaps.  I think I can use some small strips of window insulation to fill these gaps but my only concern is whether it will impact the overall efficiency of the fridge meaning will it retain excessive heat? 
As anyone seen the same problem and if so, how did you address it?

    My 320S 3-Way Fridge is nicely sealed on the cabin interior (cover plates) so no cold air flow into cabin.

    What is super important for the Fridge are the two rear (outside wall) vents.  They must be clear of obstructions allowing a good upward air flow across the 'cooling system'.

    Cold weather Fridge operation is seldom an issue.  In hot weather many owners install small extra fans behind the upper Fridge outside vent to assist with removing the hot air.

    Thank you for that response.  Gives us a bit more confidence about insulating around the fridge but keeping the exterior vents clear.  During our travels, I routinely remove the outside vents and vacuum/clean the area.  I may look for a small fan to keep on hand when it's really hot.  I think there is an outlet that I could draw power from.

    I have the same fridge, had same issue and ended up putting foam insulation in that gap, worked great. Probably actually helps with the convective flows for the two external vents since there are no errant leak paths in/out of the conditioned compartment.
