LP detector

So I was considering getting a dual LP/CO detector for Romana, but I tested my original one by flooding it with propane and it still works!

So will will just replace my CO detector. Cheers.

Does the test button work as well?  I would be worried about keeping an appliance designed to protect my life beyond the average expiration of 5 to 7 years. Can you check the back for an expiration date on that?

Hi, the test button works as well. There is no expiration date on the back. I think this was probably made before the company figured out how to revenue enhance their product. I will test this before we head out for camping. As it states on the front of the unit. Our usual practice is to warm the cabin prior to sleep then turn the heater off. We also open the vents slightly. Cheers.
