Plexus Alternative

I have seen so many posts praising the use of Plexus on the acrylic windows of the t@bs.  It seems it is either impossible to find it now or is no longer being produced.  Does any one have some suggestions for products for protecting the windows and filling in small scratches?

It is hard to tell what is happening with Plexus.
The alternatives noted in this thread are a Mequiars plastic product.
On the motorcycle Reddit groups, where Plexus was discussed, two other products mentioned were "AeroGuard" and "Novus".

This makes me sad, I still have a couple cans of Plexus left from my last case, but I use it a lot on my motorcycles and for decal & sticker removal…

    bummer.

There is this thread here with a lot of suggestions:

GOOD NEWS!  I was surprised to see @Charlessyverson's post about Plexus, so I did some searching and also could not find the product available for sale.  I decided to attempt to contact the manufacturer (B.T.I. Chemical Company - Las Vegas, NV.)  To my surprise, I received an immediate E-mail response from the inventor/owner of Plexus, Blake Schwartzman, who wrote:

"Plexus has had supply chain issues, and there is no product in the world at the moment however production is starting April 14 and will be in our warehouse, shipping out to all of our distributors around the world by the end of the month of April."

Blake invited me to call him directly for more details, so I did.  We had a very nice conversation.  He told me that, currently, Plexus cannot be found for sale anywhere in the world.  He has thousands of unfilled orders from distributors, which he will be filling near the end of April.  He explained that the product is very difficult to make, because the process is time consuming and requires special manufacturing and batching equipment.  He added that the U.S. military requires Plexus for cleaning their aircraft windows/windshields, and that h
e has been searching since April of 2023 to find someone who could produce the product for him.  Plexus is only sold under their label, so it is not sold separately under other private/generic labels.  Consumers should start seeing Plexus on the market starting in early May.

Although Blake's company only sells Plexus by the case, their distributors will be selling it by the can.  He anticipates that it will likely sell for around $30 a can.  He reiterated that it is expensive to produce because of the time and equipment involved.  I asked him if Amazon is likely to sell it.  He said that although his company does not sell directly to Amazon, his distributors have sold it on Amazon in the past, so it is likely to be available there in the near future.  The only change in the product is that he has redesigned and improved the spray nozzle so that the cleaner is sprayed out at a higher velocity, rather than the fine mist it produced in the past.  Apparently, that will allow it to be directed toward specific areas for cleaning without being impacted by the wind during use.

    So, there you have it.
