New owner here. Wasn't sure which heading to post this under, if I'm in the wrong area I apologise.
At any rate, I picked up my new trailer this past Monday and took it on a short shakedown cruise to a local (to the dealer) Provincial Park. I've proven all the Electical, plumbing and HVAC systems so all good there. The problem I ran into is deploying the bed. The passenger driver side works well, but, the driver side is obstructed by the AC outlet on the back wall. There is a cut out for the Lagun mount, but, not for the AC outlet. To get around it I have to angle the sliding slats which results in them binding before they are fully extended.
It's usable, but, not right. Not sure if this is a result of improper installation or really poor design. Not sure if S models are the same in the aft end or this is a CS issue or a my unit issue. Anyone with a 2024 CS-S have the same problem? I can think of a couple of solutions, but, wanted to hear from the community before I talk to the dealer.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here are some snaps that show what I'm on about:

Is it just a CS-S thing or all 320s like this? I am shocked that this is the way it is designed to operate.

My first thought had been that the vent was too high, but, when I looked behind I saw that in the CSS, or at least my CSS, it can't go any lower due to the convector right beneath it. Yes the bed slats do have some wiggle room, but, having to twist them over or around the vent is a pain and once deployed it remains cock-eyed as shown in the pictures above and rubs against the vent.
Since we now know that the CS and CSS are different with respect to the location of the A/C outlet I see two possibilities: Either to save costs NuCamp uses the same slat assemblies for both the CS and the CSS and it's just tough luck for CS owners or, there are two different slat assemblies for the passenger side, one for the CS and another for the CSS which accommodates the different vent position and whoever installed mine grabbed the wrong assembly for whatever reason.
I'll check with my dealer, I think he still had one '24 CSS on the lot, or failing that with nuCamp to see which it is. From there it's either get a replacement or it's tools out.
Not a member of Facebook. Will check with some family members and ask them to check it out for me.
Thanks again for your response. It definitely steers me in the right direction.
