FYI running Air8 AC off of an Ecoflow Delta 2 power station, works great!

I bought an EcoFlow Delta 2 1024kwh power generator on sale to use as a backup off grid power source. I thought I would share this info for anyone who is curious about using a power generator for your tab 320.

When I’m driving a long distance I like to take catnaps to stay alert. (I benefit greatly from short 10 minute naps, a skill I developed in the military.) I can get about 50 minutes running my Tab 320s with Air conditioner on while plugged into the 20amp outlet of the Delta 2. It handles the 1800w surge from the AC when the compressor kicks in, no problem. 50 minutes is enough time for me to use a rest stop facilities, while the AC cools the cabin, make a snack, take a short nap and then be on my way.

I’ve installed the EcoFlow Alternator charger and so I can charge the delta 2 up for my next rest stop. (It charges in about 2 hours of driving.) I may pickup the delta extra battery if I find a good sale. Although I don’t really need it because taking longer naps makes me groggy. 10 minutes max and I’m good to go…but I want it to be cool and comfortable. On really hot days it takes a while to get the cabin comfortable so a little extra capacity can’t hurt.

That's such a brilliant system.  I think folks who can do those quick naps have a super power.  I had a friend who would do those in college as a way to stay alert throughout the day.  Her trick was like yours: no more than 15 minutes so you don't get into that deep groggy sleep, but enough to rest.  I don't think my conscious is clear enough to let me fall asleep that fast.   HA!

I've got the additional Lithium package in my T@b 400 and it can run the AC similarly.  Your method is making me consider adding a DC-DC alternator charger even more to support usage on longer trips.  I've seen several articles about the DC-DC converters that they really don't put that much more load on your car.  The extra benefit of your EcoFlow setup is you can use that power generator in so many other ways than a fixed battery (like mine).  Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the note. I was wondering about my delta 2 and the air8. I have a bluetti alternator charger and it charges in about 1.5 hours. I will test it out the next time I am out.
