Tail lights

I looked out the window last night and noticed that the tail lights were on in the tab 400 , it was just one single light in the center of tail light. Is this normal, I’ve never noticed it before, the trailer was not hooked up to the truck and it went out when I shut off the power switch.

Make sure the 7 pin is not wet/corroded.  I remember that you can put a fuse between the ground and tail lights and make them turn on.

Actually between the 12V line that connects to the battery and the tail lights but it's still a valid point. There is some voltage from the battery bleeding to the tail light circuit. Could be in the plug but also in the junction box under the front of the trailer.

It has been raining quite a bit lately so I’ll check it out.
    Thanks
