Solar port in 2025 Tab320S

Hello,
In past discussions it seems that the external solar port (in my case, it is in the Nautilus) compartment may or may not be wired directly to the battery. Does anybody know in the newer/2025 models?
I would like to know if I need to get a charge controller or not to use external solar panels.
Thanks in advance.

The solar ports are connected to the battery.  You need a charge controller.

Didn’t you just place your own lithium battery and inverter?  Did you take a picture of the battery connection before dismantling?

Yes, I did just install the inverter but I simply transferred all the existing cables (POS and NEG) to my new bus bars. They aren't labeled so I have no idea where they were coming from. I really just substituted two new batteries and the bus bars for the original battery and then tacked on the inverter.
