Water not flowing to Fresh water tank - through 'jug' input

Hi!  I have a 2014 nucamp Tab, have had it 5 years.  Since it only has a 5 gallon tank in the bottom cabinet in the kitchen, I just fill my 5 gallon jug and pour it in the intake port.    Today - first time this year - I attempted to fill it, but the water only barely trickles into the tank.  It backs up and overflows out the input port instead.

Is there a screen inside that tube that can get clogged? What else can clog that tube?   I know SOME is getting through, because the drain is open and as I stand there trying to trickle water in, it eventually starts draining.

Is there a vent on the tank that may be clogged by an insect?

Thanks for the reply, Sharon.   I too found reference to clogged vents, but my trailer guy (who admittedly had about an hour to look into this) said he didn't think that vent was from the freshwater.   I think it is, because I was sanitizing one year and bubbles came out of it.    Anyways... he managed to get the tank full, I think with a hose it must have pressurized more forcing bubbles out the inlet?   Dunno - but if anyone has better info about the freshwater tank vent I'm all ears!
