I am in Wyandotte, Michigan (south of Detroit). I have two, 235 AH, 6V, AGM, Group 24 VMax batteries if anyone is interested.
I have used them in my 320S for over 4 years and just replaced them with lithium.
I have taken very good care of them and they were never discharged below 65%. However, I used them 3 weeks ago and, when they reached around 70% SOC, I noticed the lights dimmed quite a bit when the pump came on. I'm guessing they are nearing the end of their life, but haven't found anyone in my area that can perform a reliable load test. I used them last weekend and they worked great. They would drop to about 90% each night (due to fridge, ligths, and pump), but then bounce right back to 100% with good sun on my solar panels.
For all I know, my pump may be drawing too much current but, since we almost exclusively dry camp, I didn't want to take a chance.
You can have them if you would like to pick them up. Again, not sure how much life they have but would hate to resort to a landfill if someone might get a little more use out of them.
You can email me at: keith@wyan.org
Thanks!
