Empty space behind toilet

I recently purchased a 2014 T@b 320 CSS. There is a door above the toilet and a deep empty space behind the wall there, and I cannot tell how far down it extends. Is this a storage compartment? I haven’t stored anything there, concerned I wouldn’t be able to retrieve it or that I might damage something. Wondering how other folks use this space.

if your unit has the Alde, the reservoir for the glycol should be there.  It’s not an area for storage.

Thank you. It is certainly a large empty space for such a small reservoir.

Is the water pump in there, too? It is on the S models, along with a lot of other plumbing and electrical bits that are virtually inaccessible without six-foot long Gumby arms. I wouldn't store anything in there unless it's something you never hope to see again!  :-)

Thanks for the advice. Looks like the glycol reservoir is there. Water pump is in the rear with the fresh water tank. Funny, but the technician that walked me through the camper said it was a storage space. I’ll keep that space free.

The space is pretty deep. It goes down to the trailer deck. If something fell in there, you would have a difficult time fishing it out. I stuffed insulation in the space.
