Clear gel in sink first time using galley sink faucet. 2014 CS-S

Checking out plumbing and setting up camper for first campout in my T@b. Trying to figure out how to sanitize fresh water tank prior to finding Sharon_is_SAM’s excellent detailed instructions. Ran the faucet for a few seconds with sink drain closed. After pulling the drain out I found a clear gel in the bottom of the sink. Have put sanitizing on hold. Wondering what that is and if it is safe to proceed with adding bleach to the fresh water tank.

    Any photos?  Had the plumbing been winterized using antifreeze?

    I don’t know about winterization, as I bought it from a dealer who had taken it in trade and doesn’t carry T@bs. Antifreeze was my first thought, but most posts indicate there is a color associated with antifreeze. This was clear.  I didn’t think to take a photo. The fresh water is almost empty. I can try elevating the front of the camper more to see if I can drain a bit more and see’if the gel is still there.

    Well, the Google AI assistant says this may be a biofilm. That makes sense. Who knows when the last time the fresh water tank and lines were sanitized. I would still welcome other thoughts on this.

    I would fill and drain tank a couple times.  Maybe partially fill and drive around to try to agitate anything that remains.  Then thoroughly sanitize.

    I wonder if the pump could pump gel. I’m thinking it’s after the pump in the lines.

    Thank you for these ideas. I’ve flushed and sanitized, getting ready to drain the bleach water. Didn’t see any more gel. The thought about it being in the line after the pump would fit with a biofilm. 
    Sharon, your dewinterizing instructions were a huge help.
