Testing heat in summertime

Hello all--I am selling my 320S & I have a serious buyer considering.   I am going to run through all the systems to show how it works but don't know how to get the heat to come on when it's like 100 degrees now.  Is this possible?

@lkc001 could you prove the Alde system works by having it produce hot water at the faucet? Just a thought.

The hot water will work, like BandB said.  Just turn the Alde on (electric or propane) and then select the "Extra Hot" water function in the hot water section of the menu.  This will keep the pump off, and allow the Alde to heat the hot water.
You can prove the Alde is heating and working by finding the Service Menu at the bottom of the Tools Menu.  It will show the Glycol and Hot Water temperature.  (The hot water may be listed as "Sanitary" temperature in an Alde 3010.)
You can also prove it is working by opening up the Alde compartment while waiting for hot water and feel the top of the Alde, which should be warm.

If you have the digital control panel, can't the circulator pump be set to constant on? If so, this would send heat the connectors despite the ambient temp.

This is not an option with the older analog panels, but you could possibly trick the heat into coming on by blowing cold air on the thermostat.

Gotta love this forum and @BandB, @pthomas745, and @ScottG "thinking outside the (Alde) box."   ;)  Since I live in the "summertime" for a good part of the year, this is good info to keep in the back of my cluttered brain.  Thanks!
