I’ve searched around the threads here and see it discussed but no actual description of the process. I need to temporarily remove the 3 foot section at the arch of the roof on the left side and then put it back. I’ve looked it over and don’t see any visible attachment points or screws. It looks to be pressed/glued in place. Before I go tearing into it and causing permanent damage I thought I’d ask and see if anyone has actually done this or seen it done? Is there a procedure or method to remove and replace a section?

Well, I used two small furniture jacks and lifted the trim piece to give me barely enough room to work under there. I drilled through the roof ran two cables and sealed it with the gland, difficult, and a pain. But it worked, Trim is still intact, no warping, cable gland is not on in view, got the job done.
