Spare Keys "8010" - Gone !

Have a set of 4 keys from our 2024 T@B 400 . 
Our 400 was just at NuCamp for some service / warranty work , and they changed our entry door lock assembly . The new door lock assembly now has different keys than we original had and our old keys will not work . 

If anyone has a T@B that uses key # 8010 , I have a set of 4 that are of no use to me . 
Just PM me if you want them , and I will send them to you . These are CUT 8010 keys that will ONLY work if you already have 8010 key set . 

Hope someone can use them !

    Rv's are not like cars . Believe it or not , there are not that many different key numbers numbers to open the doors on all RV's .
    For instance - I asked NuCamp for a couple extra keys , since they changed out my lockset . Literally , in about 10 seconds , they came back with 2 more keys for me . Just a quick trip to the parts dept. in the back . 
    Check your key numbers . I will bet they are pretty close in number , or even the same ! 
    Just trying to help another NuCamp owner who may have this number key , if they want some extra keys for free .

    It's kind of like the keys for Yakima racks, boxes, etc. There is a finite number of key patterns. If you know the number of your lost Yakima key you can just ask any dealer for a replacement or buy it online.

    Are you are comfortable that others may have the same key as your RV? I’m not. 
    Padlocks, door locks, bicycle locks etc in my opinion all have I believe exclusive keys: or at least there are 1000’s of variations.
    So, how many different keys might there be? Or, what is the repeat factor?
    Gosh, this is a rabbit hole…

    I dont know how many key number's the lockset manufacturer that NuCamp uses , but my replacement lockset / key number was only a few numbers from this 8010 number . I dont think there is many . There is also a "master" key that works in all the NuCamp locksets . 
    Luckily ,I do believe that NuCamp does use a different type of lockset / key , than most other RV manufacturers . So it would probably have to be another NuCamp owners key that might work . 

    I am completely comfortable with my 400 when its locked . It just keeps the honest thief's out of it . If someone wants to break in , this little door lock is not going to stop them . Its not like I keep anything of value inside it , like its a safe depot box or something. 

    If you want a real eye opener look up RV key CH751 key , lol .

    Slightly off-topic, but this thread makes me wonder about my key. I replaced the new style door lock on our 2020 T@B with an aftermarket standard type like the ones found on older nuCamp's. It's probably a safe bet that the RVLock GripLite RV Door Lock has the same limited number of keys in circulation. 

    ... but I won't lose any sleep over it.       ;)
