Cold Water Drain Tube Leaking

Sorry folks, another not too exciting plumbing question. When I drain system for winterization the blue cold water tube leaks downstream from the open valve. The water starts seeping out right around the floor where the tube makes a 90 degree turn to go down through the floor and go outside. The tube runs into some type of white flange/bracket contraption that holds the blue tube in place. Does anyone know if these parts are available somewhere or what may cause the leak? I can attach pics if it helps.

    Yes, please provide a pic, and the model and year of your trailer.

    My upfront guess is it's a pex fitting that is not sealing properly.

    Thank-you Scott!  Here's that picture. It starts seeping out all around where the tube enters the floor/flange.

    Interesting. I'm curious what's below that elbow fitting, and how it's attached.
    Compare the upstream connection to the downstream connection. The little white tab is supposed to be seated over the adjacent PEX tubing and then the connection crimped with a special ring using a special tool. I'm not sure about the crimp, but the fitting certainly doesn't look properly seated in downstream pipe.
    My guess--and that's all it is--is that the installers figured since the fitting is just a gravity drain and is not under pressure (or even in use most of the time), taking some liberties with the connection wouldn't matter.
    Personally, if the amount of water is small and it only occurs when you are draining, I probably wouldn't muck around with tearing things apart and trying to fix them. However, if it's a lot of water and it ends up sitting, it could (potentially and theoretically) case a bit of damage to the floor in that area.

    @YoloCamper, you did not indicate what year/model T@B you have, but my 2018 320S Boondock Lite has the same type connections.  The first photo is the best one I have immediately available of the connections I have in my Alde compartment.  The cold-water drain is in the lower-left corner of that photo.  I have not had any issues with the white 90-degree connector that leads to the outside drain.  Unfortunately, I do not know how the the outside PEX is secured to the white elbow piece, because it is covered outside with black sealant, but I assume that it is crimped the same as on the inside.

    The second picture is one that is often posted on this forum to identify the various pipes and drains for winterizing purposes.  In that photo, which I believe may be from a 2017 model T@B, you can see the same 90-degree elbow, but the larger round plastic piece that lays atop the floor was apparently not being used in earlier models.  I am including it, because you can see what @ScottG is referencing, re the PEX (for the outside drain).  In the upper right corner of that photo, you can see the white tab on the 90-degree piece is seated over the blue PEX for that outside section of tubing.  Again, that may be secured with a metal crimp below the floor, or maybe nuCamp felt the flooring was sufficient to keep the PEX securely in place, especially if it has sealant around it, like mine.

    Regardless, my guess is that there is a plastic fitting on the outside half of that 90-degree piece that matches the design of the fitting that is pushed inside the interior section of blue PEX.  IF the water is leaking right where you drew the red arrow, maybe it is cracked at that location, OR there might be some blockage in the outside drain tube.  Mud daubers have often been reported as the cause of that blockage, so you may want to check that possibility.  I have covered my outside drain tubes with some lightweight screen to prevent that.  Otherwise, you might contact nuCamp and include a photo asking if you can get a replacement of the fitting from them, or where you can find one.

    Thank-you all for the assistance. This gives me a lot to run with. I realized my profile was lacking as well so I've updated it with my rig and a picture. It's a 2018 T@b S. Also, it's decent amount of water but only when draining. This last time I had to stuff various towels down around it to keep it from spreading. Good to know about the lack of a white fitting on the floor in prior years. I'll dig into the mud dauber idea and contact NuCamp if I want to replace it.
