Haven 3" Lift - Considering a three inch lift for our Haven to give us a
bit more clearance. Performance Trailer Braking offers a kit and a
mobile service option. Cost me around $600, but I was curious as to
whether Nucamp has noticed the issue and is already looking at a
modification. Well, in response to that question, I got this reply "I
had to reach out to our leadership and tech support to check on this.
They advised that they are currently working on a prototype with 32
degree pitch, after positive test results this could be scheduled to
install. So we will keep you updated!". Since that exchange, I haven't
learning anything else. So, I'm not sure if this is a modification or
if this is something they are looking at for the later 2026 or 2027
models.

Im curious if this is related to reports of the back bottoming out? Or maybe just more off road clearance?
i’ve seen videos or read about the trailer bottoming out and some brace underneath which would be a concern to me

I think part of the issue is the two upside down triangles that are bolted under the frame near the back. I'm sure the intent was to keep the back of the trailer from rubbing, but in our opinion, they are too long. We did confirm they are bolted on, so one thought was to unbolt them and then shorten then a few inches. Another is to install a Torlfex Lift Kit designed for a single axle. This would give just short of a 3" lift. There is room in the wheel well for larger tires but it would be expensive as you would need tires and rims. Our Haven has an appointment at the factory in May for some work and the 32 degree pitch is on our list for the factory. Since nucamp is radio silence we're just going to have to wait and see.2025 Haven 2202020 Ford F-150 XLT (V-8)Niceville, Florida -
Thanks for the information
I’m at least a year away from being able to purchase a new camper but currently this is on the top of my list.
