Keder rail anchor
Does anyone have a photo or video of how to use a Keder rail anchor in our T@b rails? I just bought a Moonshade and want to use their 2 point anchor system using the Keder. But I can't figure out how I will get the anchor ring attached to its base in such a narrow space. TIA!

I don't have a picture but if you look at either end of there Keder rail you will notice that there is an area where the rail is wider, this is where you would slide a keder, or whatever device you have that uses the rail

Here's a photo of the anchor - the barrel just looks too large to fit in the opening where the rail is wider. But people on FB have said this size fits their Keder.

Looks too large or is too large? If it's a std, 8mm (I think), then it should fit, if not you need to get another anchor

I don't know yet - I haven't received it from MoonShade. I just reverted to my prior plan to use their vacuum/suction cups. I was just afraid the awning would cover the solar panels. Hopefully I can use the suction cups successfully. If not, I will order the 8mm anchors and hope I can get those to work. They are only $25 more.

Here's a photo of another camper like mine using the vacuum cups. It just barely fits in the space in front of the solar panels.

well I think it will fit, you can’t judge from the picture

Not my idea but another Tab’er used this for their keder rail. I cannot figure out how to copy the link, but if you type this in your favorite search Engine you should find numerous examples

We have the Moonshade that we mount using the keder rail anchors and love it. It takes just a few minutes to set up or take down. I also have a third anchor right in the middle that I use to attach a short cord to and clip it on the loop that is on the Moonshade. This keeps the middle higher than the sides, making rain run to the side rather than down the side of the trailer. I skip this step if there’s no rain in the forecast.
Here is the shade in use at Chaco Canyon.
Edit: Once the anchors are in place there’s no need to remove them. They’re their all the time and always ready.2021 320S BD
