Haven bathroom door

Up front, we're probably weird but from our first trip, we were disappointed in the Haven bathroom door. First, it really should have been a pocket door but it wasn't. When it opens, it opens towards the exit door, so for example if you step into the Haven and want to go to the bathroom, you have to step towards the bed, so you can open the bathroom door. I know, so what. We traveled thousands of miles in our t@b 400 and worked around opening and closing the bathroom door. You would be right but then again, spouse wasn't happy so we looked for solutions.

Option one was a beaded curtain. As you may see or if you've seen us at Parks, we have a beach/flamingo theme going with our Haven. Door was easy to remove and installing the beaded curtain wasn't too difficult. We did have to shorted it and then connect straps to each side of the bathroom entry to hold the curtain open. Over bumpy roads, everything held but at times the bottom of the bead curtain would get tangled. After four trips, we found we just left the beaded curtain open (tied to each side). (first two photos)

Option two which we have now, is a cloth curtain; with a flamingo. I used a very light weight curtain rod held in place right now with heavy duty velcro but we're going to change that to magnetics. Headed out tomorrow on a three week trip with a stop at the nucamp factory for a bit of warranty work. We think the curtain option is going to work but we'll update after this trip. (second two photos).
