320 Rear Cabinet Removal

I spent a lot of time researching how others had removed their cabinets and had a good idea how to proceed. There were a number of questions still outstanding though that had me hesitant to start the project. I have now completed it and happy with the outcome one so far. We always camp in twin set up and needed the headroom for sleeping more than the storage. I tried to be very detailed in documenting the removal so others could use my experience to help guide them.     Thanks for posting this.

    We have a 320 and are just starting to use it extensively. Running into the same issue with headroom when sleeping.

    We have a walker tent which we use for living space so we don’t have to flip the sleeping area every day.

    Very helpful to understand how you tackled this challenge!

    Nice! Great idea to mount the lights on the inside panel of the new box.

    As you were removing the cabinet, were you able to get a sense of where to anchor a replacement solution? We’re thinking of installing a cargo net, a little higher than where the cabinet was installed. Something like this:

    I hadn't really looked for any additions. At this point we are going to leave it open. I had seen another post where they had a tension rack shelf higher up.

    Do you happen to recall what the little dark piece extending from the back wall is? Did a cabinet fastener attach to it?
