External Storage Bags / Boxes

What options do folks recommend for the front shelf to add more storage? I see folks have found boxes that fit but I can’t identify them or how you all are securing them.

Was looking to instal, maybe some of the Class B external bags perhaps.

    There are a few different types. Some are made specifically for the T@Bs.

    The best way to install is drill through the tub in areas that match the large holes in your platform, and run bolts and large fender washers and secure.

    Other folks have used various plastic tubs with locking lids and secured the same way with drilling through the bottom of the tub, and using bolts and large fender washers.

    Depending on how fancy you want to look or how inexpensive you want them to be, options are out there.

    I use plastic tubs with lids from Lowes, easy to come by if they need to be replaced. Since I secure them with straps they are also easy off and on. The whole set up was less than $40.

    There are tons of solutions that are less spendy. Back before the days of the aluminum side boxes, there were Rubbermaid Actionpackers. Still a good option.

    There are so many storage options: tool boxes, etc, that fit on the racks

    This photo of "Bat Tab" back in 2016 may have been the first owners with aluminum boxes on the tongue. (Don't quote me!). I bought mine soon afterwards. "Custom Aluminum Boxes" in Ohio.

    I use 6-gallon milk crates, the bottom one secured to the platform with bolts and large fender washers. I stack three on the driver’s side and two on the passenger side, and hold them in place with bungee cords. I store sewer hoses and black water accessories on the driver’s side, and drinking hose and clean water accessories on the passenger side.
