I researched about the best water filter pitcher for the past few days because I need one for clean and better-tasting drinking water at home. I read reviews, and they are recommending these two as the best:

We have used the Epic water filters both countertop and bottles, for a few years now and have had no concerns. Very good quality and good tasting water. Filters are certified and take out all the bad stuff. We have used the bottle filters when traveling and no issues with water filtered thru these filters.

There is a lot of great info and comparison reviews at this site https://bos-water.com/ Clearly Filtered is their top pitcher pick. It would not be mine due to the method of priming the filter. I would choose an Epic Nano XP for traveling and filling water from unknown sources. I love the taste of RO water, but even the tabletop models require some counter space "in the camper". Are you truly asking about a solution for home? If it's for home use are you on well water or municipal water? If municiple, I would get a water quality report from the city/water supplier then let that report dictate a picther, or a gravity system like Berkery or it's clones, undersink RO or a distiller. RO and distiller remove minerals too, which may or may not be what you want.

ps: I would also learn about NSF ratings to help separate facts from the seller "hype'd claims"

we have used the clearly filtered pitcher for several years now and it works out great. We use it at home and just bring the pitcher with us when we travel. It definitely improves the taste of almost any water.
