Advantages/Disadvantages of Kitchen Inside vs. Out

Hi all - I'm new to the forum. Looking to buy my first T@B and having a difficult time deciding which one. I love the idea of the kitchen being outside as this would eliminate smelling up the camper, as well as give you a lot more room to work. The biggest drawback that I can see would be inclement weather. Anything else you can think of to help me make my decision? Which style did you choose and why?

We ordered a T@B with indoor kitchen for more convenient use when traveling or in bad weather, but also because, counterintuitively, the bed is significantly larger.

We like the indoor kitchen for the ability to make breakfast, or just coffee, 'incognito', anywhere we want along the road.

If you are at all open to the possibility of overnighting at a place like Walmart or a truck stop while traveling, I would think the inside kitchen would almost be a must have. My understanding is that setting up "camp" at places like that is a no-no.

Although, you could easily stop for a meal at rest stop and then sleep at Walmart.

I choose the outside since I knew I would be taking my 3 dogs occasionally and cooking in a small space with dogs would be too challenging to enjoy a meal.

When using the forum search function try using a "one word" search entry for best results as the Vanilla forum engine isn't too sophisticated and does not produce the results as let's say s Google level search does.

2canoe - Know what you mean - generally one word is broad and the second narrows.

We seldom drink alcoholic beverages before 5:00pm. Unless it's a weekend, holiday, special occasion or on vacation.
Can't wait for retirement. It'll always be 5:00 somewhere .

Getting back on topic.
There's nothing better than looking out at a view like this, while waiting for the hot water to boil. For coffee or hot chocolate ( maybe with a little Kentucky Bourbon in it ). Even better when it's raining.

You had a better rainy day view than I did. I had a similar scene but it was behind me. Great if outside but couldn't see it while in.
