Saw this window shade at a campground this weekend. Held in place with an elastic strap and Velcro. Very cool looking, highly practical and easy to install/remove.

That's ours. We got the pattern off the Yahoo T@B group and my wife made them. Very nice to have. You can have some privacy and shade while keeping the windows open to capture a breeze. I forget who made them first.

Interesting camo design - goes well with the Outback theme I think. Made by Chris K and his wife Kathy. They work great! Easy on/off and you can fully close the window without needing to remove them.

I got the pattern for these off the Yahoo T@B forum. Someone generously posted detailed directions. I made my reversible with classic stripes on one side and girly flowers on the other for when I am "glamping" with Sisters On The Fly. They are held on with 1" elastic and Velcro. Took me about an hour per panel. I used outdoor fabric from JoAnn (use those 40%coupons!) and UV thread that supposedly lasts longer in the sun.

Verna, the 3 page direction document is by Sharon Sigmon. It is posted on Yahoo as well as on the Facebook group called T@B Camping Trailers. I tried posting the FB link but it's being non-cooperative tonight. I'll try getting the Yahoo link. Update: I think this link will work......

did you try the pdf download above in this thread by SweetlyHome? The links don't work for me on a Mac but the pdf downloaded with no problems. I know the later Mac OS is linux based so I would think you would have a relatively good shot downloading with no problems.

BBchBum - Macs are Unix based but not the Linux variant. BSD with a Mach kernal as I recall. And a totally different programming base - ObjectiveC and Swift

The pattern for the window awnings was initially put together by Ella Brown and Sharon Sigmon, I believe. Ella and her husband now travel in a Airstream Bambi. The pattern can be found on Yahoo, as well as the Facebook pages. Warning: They can be quite addictive : ) I don't sew, but have managed to make 4 sets. Yikes!

I use an Ubuntu Linux variant on my laptop. Extremely safe for online commerce and banking. Has its limits though.
