Wardrobe/Storage Modifications

I know T@B made a model that had wardrobe/storage space along the back wall. Can't seem to find a pre-owned available for sale (sigh).
Any suggestions on how I might make the modification?
Thanks!

That's it!! Did you do the modifications or buy it that way?

The photo I posted above was something I found on Pinterest and isn't my trailer. I have a T@B S unit and have a rear bench in my trailer that folds down into a bed. You could probably have someone make something similar.... This will take you to the lady's link on Pinterest.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

GAPeach: this is how I handle my clothes and accessories. I roll up my clothes in the back and packed enough for a 12-day trip without having to wash.

Did you make the pockets hanging on the shower door? I plan to make something similar, once we figure out what we'll want to keep handy!John and Henrietta, Late 2016 T@B S Max in Western New York

Although not done yet (will add some bins, etc.), I put up some wire shelving (will probably put folded clothes on top). I'd love to know how that person hung the pole going across. I used Command bundle cord hooks - so far it's held!

That looks great. I am guessing the rod is a tension mount.mickietucs said:Although not done yet (will add some bins, etc.), I put up some wire shelving (will probably put folded clothes on top). I've got the unit you're looking for. It is the L model. I had to order mine. You do get a smaller bed.Rick, Milwaukee WI.

Yes, a trade-off. Luckily I'm 5'1" so sleeping wheel to wheel is just right. Glad I got it as I'm going to try full-time so wanted a tad more space.rrkulla said:I've got the unit you're looking for. It is the L model. I had to order mine. You do get a smaller bed.

I reached out to little guy. They don't make it anymore and I need the hanging storage to travel 90 days at a time for the military. The smaller bed is fine, I even tried to order the European version...T@B L 400 TD google that if you want to see a much different layout in the same space. Thanks for all the input. Keep your fingers crossed I find A t@b for sale I can customize.

I don't know if this solution would help you. We just put a pole across the width of the trailer supported by the valance boards. Hope this image isn't too big. I'm not skilled at the photo thing. Please let me know. 2canoe, 2015 T@B Q-Max -
No, I purchased it from BBB and trimmed it down to fit. You'd be surprised what you decide to use it for. There's no drawers in the tab and I use it for that: keys, glasses, pens, remotes, flashlight, plasticware, charging cables, lighter.Photomom said:Did you make the pockets hanging on the shower door? I didn't know Little Guy ever made the "L" floor plan. If so I'm surprised it isn't made any longer. GA Peach, have you considered hanging clothes in your tow? We've done that on long trips. I at times also carry plastic drawers. I have a model with no closet.Crystal & Daisy, a yellow 2007 T@B Q previously towed by a 2008 Jeep Liberty, and currently towed by a 2016 RAM 1500.

Thank you TABaker, the issue is when I'm traveling I can be off military instalation and I don't want the car to be a potential target. I think I'm really going to have to embrace the idea of upgrading my car so I can tow something different. I'm thinking about the R-Pod with the 'garage'

Just curious, did anyone Google the UK version T@B L400 TD? Man I'm desperate to get my hands on that!!!

GAPeach, As you know, LG removed the L Model from their website this past year. I suspect that it was a low selling model for them with many people preferring the S Model and just a few of us hold outs like myself and TABaker preferring Q and U Models. They have announced that they will be producing an oversize T@B arriving sometime around late 2016 to mid 2017. Speculation thus far is that it will be similar to the T@B L400 TD. If you can hold out by using garment bags for your uniforms while hanging them in your TV or some other alternative, I would highly recommend doing so until the introduction of the new T@B. While I must admit that as a lover of LG products, my opinion is somewhat biased, I have not been impressed with the R-Pods that I have seen. Materials and construction appeared to be lacking a little. Good Luck in your search and most importantly, keep on camping!!!Ed & Tea

We are happy "L" owners as we truly like the extra storage space in the back. I was curious and checked the T@B site. While it is not listed in the prime header territory of the T@B home page the "L" is still listed as an option at the bottom of the page. A website update is needed if is no longer available. http://www.tab-rv.com/

Hi SweetlyHome, the link didn't work...
-
Your correct about the link, and now I can't seem to delete or change it. Try the main T@B web page http://www.tab-rv.com/, go all the way to the bottom, the "L" is listed on left side along with the other models. This takes you to the description.Jupiter, Florida~T@B 400, with 2018 Toyota 4Runner
