my heater is not working on propane. Any ideas? Works on electricity and yes, propane is turned on.

The red light indicates it's not getting propane or the battery is too low to run the pump. I think solid red is propane and flashing is low power (but don't quote me on that).

Yup. Here's the info straight from the US/Can Alde manual.

G. Red LED flashes if the voltage to the boiler goes below
10,5 V (automatic resetting at higher voltage). Fixed light,
the LPG boiler has become blocked (resetting by the central
switch for LPG) or overheated (resetting by the main
switch of the vehicle). The temperature sensors of the
boiler could be defective as well (resetting not possible).

So, if the "red light is staying on" solid, not flashing, you need to check your propane and make sure it's flowing - Good flow at your cooktop? I had a full propane tank, it was turned on and I was getting the red light - turned out to be a bad tank. Worked fine with my other tank.
If it's flashing, check your battery charge. You might want to recycle the circuit breakers also just in case there's a glitch there.

Gas stove works so that means gas is flowing. I'm at an Rv place now and they are at a loss. Any other ideas?

Could you have blown one of the Alde fuses between the time it worked and now? The fuses are under the panel on the Alde unit.

No. You can hear the unit click on but no gas.

I know someone was having trouble getting the fridge to light and it turned out that the ignighter was out of position.

I think I remember someone needing to remove all power from the Alde to 'reset' it, when the red light had been on.

Good luck, Carol. Tough to be taking a trip without heat. But if you're lucky, Baja will be pleasant enough without it.
