Ok funny story about sewer hose storage

we brought the T@b home and started fitting him up with needed things.  We had gotten Beckley's to mount long sewer carrier under the back.  But the 15' Rhino hose wont scrunch short enough to fit!!!  I dont get it.  All photos of the large holder imply a 15' hose wil scrunch right in.  Lies!  We put a 5' extension in ther for now and put main hose in propanr compartment.  Are there other hoses that scrunch up shorter?

I have wondered about that. See if you can get your Rhinoflex to scrunch shorter. I had mine for quite a while before I realized that I could get it more compact.

What Jenn said - I have mine in the propane cover but pretty sure it would scrunch up to quite a bit less than the width of the T@B

I have a 15' Rhinoflex and a no-name 5' scrunched up in a 64" sewer tube attached to my tongue. It's simple and so convenient.

Mine fits in the crosswise tube. I had to trim the tabs off the Rhino end fitting to get it in there. The cap has to be off the end of the hose to allow the air out for it to collapse completely...
Maybe yours is longer than 15'?

I just went and measured.  The tube (which was the largest at the store) is 46 inches long.  The Rhino 15 foot, even without attachments on the ends and as scrunched as it will go, is about 52 inches.  Just bad forethought on our parts, but kinda funny, too.

Hmmmm - Was presuming it was closer to the width of the T@B like the ones I've seen.

I bought 6 foot worth of 4" PVC and added end caps and mounted across the front of the T@B. I can scrunch 20' worth of Rhino in there.

One of the big box stores, HD or Lowes, forget which. I did dremel off extra tabs on the connectors, but mine is not needed for true sewer, mine is just a grey water drain with a short hose adapter.

This is my first version, have since upgraded to the Rhino, but all those extra plastic pieces on the connector had to be shaved off.

Carol-   I was able to get thin wall pvc and then taking the ends off from the Rhino, was able to get it. Thin wall pvc, is a real 4" inside dia., works great. Thanks for getting me to think'in. :s     jim       Also, tube is allot lighter.

Dang! There's something besides cast iron? Wish I'd known...

Honestly, I'd bought this nice 10 foot piece of 6"ID PVC Schedule 40, so I could fit those 'ears' into it that the Rhino has on its fittings.... Got it home and realized it weighed about as much as cast iron.

    Took it back.

Cutting off the 'ears' is a whole lot easier.

I've learned to wait a bit when I have a great idea for the Tab. Sleep on it, so to speak.

Has anyone tried a fence post? Bigger inside, lighter, has caps that can be attached.
That would probably work, except most are square, and probably more expensive than PVC. Also the caps would have to be friction fit instead of threaded, so bigger chance of losing them on the road.

I used 4" poly corrugated drain pipe the end caps just snap on and off. I did have to shave a little off the tabs on the RIno connector for a snug fit.

I really like this idea. How did you attach it to the tab.

For those that don't won't to fabricate this is very easy and it will hold the rhino flex with large ends connected.
