Window Unit Air Conditioning Install

Hi Everyone,
We are new owners of a 2008 Dutchman T@B. We just got back from our first trip, and it was great!
However, our T@B does not have air conditioning....and being down here in Florida we are going to need it.
I am interested in installing a small window unit - and I think I found the exact same unit Little Guy installs in the new trailers.
My question for the forum is this:
For those of you with a factory installed window unit, how is it vented? Has anyone removed the ac unit and seen the venting and support brackets? Any pictures out there of what it all looks like? Is there insulation to keep the ac heat out of the trailer?
I'm trying to get some ideas about the best way to install it.
I contacted the factory about the best mounting location...and I am leaning towards installing it in the cabinet below the range. That way the weight of the unit can rest on the floor of the trailer.
Thanks in advance for any help!

You have to turn on an auxiliary fan to help cool the unit on mine.

I believe there were some photos of the inside of the set up in the Yahoo group. Before LG added the fan, some owners created their own solutions.

Since the window units, such as I have in mine, are flush mounted to the outside, the exchange of air is rather difficult. To compensate for this, LG installed "baffles" on each side so that hot air is expelled to the outside and fresh air is drawn in on either side. Sorry I don't have pictures of this, nor am I sure how it works. I know of this design because they changed out my A/C at Tearstock last year. Some of these units do have an auxiliary fan to expel the hot air, but mine does not.

If I recall correctly - as you state RZRBug - the hot air exhausts from the center and someone here on the forum constructed a simple vent that exhausted that hot air up and out of the way of the air intakes on the sides. Claimed it helped to produced colder air inside.

Assuming I got this link right, here is the discussion about exhausting hot air from the A/C.

Thanks everyone for the help. I like the idea of installing an additional fan to help it vent. This is just what I was looking for. With the ac units being flush mounted to the outside, this makes sense. Ill be sure to post some pictures of the design/fab/install process here.
